Best Mountain Biking in Bryce Canyon, UT - Thunder Mountain

This is the Thunder Mountain trail near Bryce Canyon, Utah. It offers spectacular scenery for the entire 8 mile trail. The trail starts out at nearly 8,000 feet and then descends approximately 1,200 feet to the Red Canyon below. The scenery is reminiscent of the neighboring Bryce Canyon. The trail itself is not very technical but offers numerous tight switchbacks during the descent and has loose gravelly sections which might be unnerving for intermediate riders.
