This Guitar belongs to my extremely good friend, Mr. Terry LaBant
He has a wonderful eye for custom guitars I have customized. I don’t know how many right now for him four or five I guess maybe more…??? Anyhow … if Terry likes something and in his mind’s eye, he says man wouldn’t it be cool if I had a Guitar that looked like this, but it had this on it and it could do this….! Then he will give me a call and we end up building one for him like that…! In this case he found this online.. This guitar was meant to be sold only in Japan. It was not meant to be sold overseas in another market. They do a lot of guitars like this believe it or not….😳 just research it and you’ll see what I’m talking about a lot of of these hot Schott Japanese guitar players will get a signature model. Guitar and fender of Japan will build them a signature model this particular Guitar….. started out as a tobacco sunburst, bound front and back telecaster custom…!
Some Luthier in Japan had a wonderful task of actually turning it into a Nashville special…🎶❤️👍🏻 it has incredibly nice pick ups in it. The neck is phenomenal and they have installed a fender Bigsby vibrato system, with a fender Mustang bridge set up the bridge set up is actually not stock. It is a aftermarket custom fully adjustable all six saddles with needle point rockers….! ( BEFORE WE GET A LOT OF PEOPLE SAYING THAT MIDDLE PICK UP IS NOT VERY LOUD …..! )
I would just like to say “,add to the description if you will….🤔”
The middle pick up is cranked down into the body considerably lower…! For the obvious reason for us telecaster players who pick right in that area and we have a small problem with hitting a MIDDLE pick up, so it is lowered into the body, which does make it quieter… There I have said it…! 🤔 😹😹😹🎶

2009 (CIJ) Telecaster Custom w/Factory Bigsby. Upgraded to Nashville setup with Lollar pickups, Oak Grigsby 5-way switch, Mastery bridge, soft touch bigsby spring, and Vibramate string spoiler for easy string changes. Normal wear for a guitar of this age. See photos.
Pickups: Lollar Royal T neck, Vintage Blonde middle, and J Street Bridge.
Bridge: Mastery bridge with factory Fender logo Bigsby
Tuners: Fender Am Vintage. (Came with vintage style locking tuners.)
