National Academy of Floor Covering Training - Heat Weld & Flash Cove Training February 2020

The National Academy of Floor Covering Training held it's first Heat Weld & Flash Cove Training on February 17-19th 2020 hosted by Ardex in Aliquippa, PA. Over the coals of 3 days instructors Mike Pigeon (https://floorconnection.com) and Daniel Gonzalez (https://preferredflooringmi.com) went over the Anatomy of a weld, Flat weld, Flash Cove weld, and Flash Coving resilient materials.

NAFCT certified Heat Weld and Flashcove technicians have been through a 2 day course and successfully completed a hands on, performance exam. The course did not include resilient installation methods or test attendees knowledge of proper installation techniques. Certified technicians have demonstrated an understanding of techniques used for proper creation of flashcove and heat welding of seams.
