In this video we will begin the process of another Gravely Frankenstein diesel repower. Our main ingredients are: a C10A transaxle, C10 HI/LO planetary, Commercial 8 adapter plate, and a 418CC Yanmar clone.
We machine the crankshaft of the 418CC Yanmar clone to adapt to the C10 HI/LO planetary. This process would also work if you were adapting a commercial 8 adapter plate, and a Yanmar. Please note that the C10A and newer input gear is different, and you will need to machine it to match.
