Billboard disrespects BTS & accuses ARMY of chart manipulation

Anytime BTS receives any success, particularly on the charts, people are quick to point fingers and accuse the group and its fandom of “exploiting loopholes” with the intention “to propel BTS singles’ performance.”
For a recent cover story with Billboard magazine, BTS were asked directly about chart manipulation, and more specifically, their fans’ involvement.
Billboard writes “some noted how the group’s fans, known as ARMY, organize themselves on social media, using tactics like bulk purchases of physical albums and coordinated digital buying to influence chart performance.”
Billboard asked the group about ARMY's involvement in chart manipulation. They also spoke about military enlistment and disregarded BTS' achievements. Watch the video for more details.
