This is a unique way to experience the majesty of the Grand Canyon - and do it in an area that is much less traveled than the common Bright Angel and Kaibab Trails down to the bottom of the canyon. Thunder River is one of the coolest geological phenomena's that I have ever seen. Getting into the cavern where the spring fed creek comes out of was nothing short of incredible.
