1970: A Slick New Chevrolet Nova by Protouring Texas

Chevrolet introduced an all-new compact in 1968, with contemporary semi-fastback styling. Chevrolet was drifting away from the Chevy II name— officially the car was referred to as simply "Nova." Far from stock form. This modern classic version pumps out an amazing 650hp from its newly installed supercharged LSX engine. But this is no ordinary Ls swap, care was taken to fabricate and install each component to fit as if it came straight from the Chevrolet dealer. A Tremec magnum 6 speed manual transmission and McLeod clutch was used transfer the power to the Speedtech performance suspension 9 inch rear axle. Ultimate long tube headers were selected to help produce additional torque thru a hand built stainless exhaust system with material sourced from Stainless bros.
