Dohern Loop - A jewel in County Sligo

Welcome to our video all about the Dohern Loop trail.

The trail is located in south-east County Sligo near the R294 road just outside Tubbercurry.

This is the closest trail to where we live so I was surprising that we hadn’t heard of it until very recently.

In the video, I have written the What Three Words location for the start of the trail.

I walked this on a sunny but cold December afternoon and it was stunning. I would not attempt it on a rainy or misty day as the main attraction of this hike is the fantastic views of the surrounding mountains meaning that good visibility is a must.
