Introducing the Nik Collection

In 2023 DxO completed a six year project to rewrite the Nik Collection from the ground up. Based on the usual 12 month release cycle we may be expecting a new version of the leading collection of photo processing presets this year.

In terms of the current platform, its probably a good time to re-evaluate the capabilities of this software because many people, including me came to it more than ten years ago and have a view rightly or wrongly that it is mainly about finishing photos.

In actual fact, it is much more than that and this series aims to demonstrate how the Nik Collection integrates tightly with Lightroom and Photoshop, Affinity as well, it's advanced capabilities making it a viable component of a layer based workflow for enthusiasts and professionals alike.
