This is a tutorial for replacement of F-FO base plate ceramic unit.
After my tripod collapsed the lenses bayonete broke and also any other manual lens stopped working.
The body has a ceramic plate that senses the F-ring position. Is very fragile and a common fault after a drop.
If you have an fEE error on display even your lens F ring is set correctly most likely this is the reason.
I believe Nikon part number is B10020171. Is easy to find on eBay y paid about 24€ for it.
