"Do You Know How to Turn Off the Lights?" is a powerful short film that takes you inside the relentless cycle of obsessive-compulsive disorder. This short film is based on a spoken word piece I wrote about the intrusive thought battle that I’ve fought thousands of times; every time I’ve left a room, used a public bathroom, or tried to move on without certainty. This film captures the exhausting reality of OCD beyond stereotypes and hopes to change your mind on what it truly means to have OCD.
