FD 300mm F5.6, is it any good for the Digital age?

Not a normal question you would ponder, is it?
But with RF lenses in the Thousands of dollars!!
I looked to the past to see if a 300mm FD lens first released in 1979, Could be still relevant in this age of Mirrorless wonders.

And I'm happy to report if you're looking for an image to enjoy and have that old school flavour then you won't be disappointed with this lens.
Costing me less than $100 aud for a mint condition version on ebay.
There is still plenty of options for us poor photographers 😔.
