🚆 12-car trains era! Sheung Shui ⇆ Lok Ma Chau journey on the MLR-train - MTR East Rail Line 2017

This video was filmed on 2017/10/02.
Lok Ma Chau Station, the border station to access mainland China, has been closed from 2020/02/04 to 2023/01/07 due to COVID-19, and 2023/01/08 is the day of reopening. On the day of filming, you can take the return train directly from Lok Ma Chau, but I'm not sure if the same applies to the opening in 2023. The East Rail Line has gone through many changes. All 12-car trains are retired or rearranged to other lines, 9-car trains and a new signalling system were introduced to the line, the Intercity Through Train stopped services, and there were no pandemic and mask regulations.

連接中國內地邊境的落馬洲在2020年2月4日至2023年1月7日因為新冠疫情而關閉，而車站在2023年1月8日重新開放。拍攝當時可以乘坐落馬洲站回頭車，但不太清楚2023年開放能否同樣地乘坐回頭車。由關閉至今，東鐵綫已經改頭換面，12卡列車全面退役或重組至其他路線、9卡車及新信號系統投入服務、直通車停駛，拍攝當時也沒有疫情和口罩令。
