I purchased my 2018 raptor for 69k today the value for trade is 70k. 1K more than what I paid for it 4 years ago Because of the current chip shortage. If I wait until next year when the raptor or comes out it's out and the Kelly blue book stabilizes my truck will only be worth at best 50K. So I had to make a business decision To trade in now for a 2021. Next year I will trade that in and get a 2022 Raptor R for almost the exact amount that I paid for it 80K.
