Floating houses don't have opossums underneath, but they can get beavers. Personally I think that I would rather have the opossum. They are less destructive...and they can't puncture your floatation.
This is a difficult job. I always lean towards sealing entrances and trying to permanently end the customer's problems, but how do you screen out beavers from under your house when you are floating over eighty feet of water?
