The world's largest indoor carousel is located at House on the Rock, outside of Spring Green Wisconsin. The carousel debuted in 1989, to showcase the extensive collection of carousel figures that Alex Jordan, owner of House on the Rock, had accumulated over a lifetime of collecting. The value of the collection was estimated to be in excess of $4.9 million dollars at the time.
The carousel has over 20,000 lights and 182 chandeliers. It is 35 ft tall, 80 ft wide and weights 36 tons.
