The Family of John O'Keefe filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Karen Read along with CF McCarthy's and The Waterfall Bar & Grill. This civil lawsuit is separate from the new murder trial she will be facing in January 2025. The O'Keefe's blame the bars for overserving Karen Read and causing her to make reckless decisions that lead to John's death. The 80-year-old disgraced lawyer, Tom Girardi, was convicted on all counts and is facing 80 years in federal prison. His sentencing will be in December 2024. I will cover the Change of Venue Hearing for Bryan Kohberger on Thursday, August 29th.
