Mario Batali's show "Molto Mario" was one of Food Network's early successes. Premiering in 1996, three years after the network's launch, it proved lucrative for both the network and for Batali himself. In the following years, Batali went on to appear on many more food TV shows and start a restaurant empire with partners Joe and Lidia Bastianich.
The initial run of "Molto Mario" ended in 2005, but Food Network was set to bring it back in 2018. Then Batali was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women, and everything fell apart. Yes, we finally know why Food Network canceled "Molto Mario."
