"Biographies in Music" was an intermission feature heard during the Saturday matinee radio broadcasts of the Metropolitan Opera and hosted by Met assistant manager, Francis Robinson. Presented here is a short biography of Amelita Galli-Curci. Mr. Robinson plays excerpts from her recordings, including "Caro Nome", "La Capinera", "Una Voce Poco Fa" and "When Chloris Sleeps".
From the Metropolitan Opera radio broadcast of February 4, 1961, heard during the intermission of "Il Trovatore".
