Dr. Brendan Smyth is an academic nephrologist based at St George Hospital and the University of Sydney, Australia. His PhD in 2020 addressed improving randomised clinical trial evidence in the hemodialysis population and his current research interests include improving symptoms in people with kidney failure, use of cannabinoids in this population, as well as sustainable kidney care and the impact of rising temperatures on kidney health.
