Building a Wall Cabinet with Modern Woodworking

Hey woodworkers! I'm working on designing things with fewer limitations, and that means a lot more curves and shapes that would be really difficult or time consuming to do with traditional woodworking tools. And by traditional, I mean things like your bandsaw to rough out a curved piece and later following up to the line with a template router bit. Instead, it's time to just go straight to the CNC and do all those complex cuts, and get a clean off the machine finish that requires very little sanding. I also use the CNC router to cut really clean and accurate dovetails. This is my custom wall cabinet design that I am using as a medicine cabinet in my bathroom. Cherry and maple.

The CAD file is a free download, done in Autodesk Fusion 360. It includes all my CAM/toolpaths that I used for every operation, so you can check out the tooling along with the feeds and speeds I used. Feel free to make a copy of this project for yourself!

CNC Woodworking. I did the build on my Avid CNC, an Avid Pro 4x8 CNC router machine. You could use a Laguna Swift CNC, or a OneFinity CNC, or a Phantom CNC to make this CNC router project. You can create plans from the Fusion 360 file, but you really don't need to.
