MN99s Version 2 Radio ESC Upgrade

Welcome back to Bill’s RC Workbench! Today, I’ve got the MN99S Version 2 crawler on the bench, and I’m upgrading it with a better receiver and electronic speed control to enhance its crawling performance. In this video, I’ll walk you through the process step-by-step, from disassembling the chassis to soldering new components and explaining how everything works together.

We’ll cover the basics of radio-controlled car electronics, including transmitters, receivers, speed controls, motors, and servos while tackling practical upgrades like using better wires and connectors. I’ll also share tips for soldering and setting up the radio system and fine-tuning the throttle and steering settings for smoother control.
