Do What the Word Says | Lynne Hammond | LWCC

God is the God of the reasonable, God of the probable and the God of the possible; however He is the God of the unreasonable, improbable and the impossible. We can entreat, ask and to trust Him to give us things that will give Him glory regardless of the outcome. Our faith and our doctrine is founded on the resurrection of Jesus and His resurrection power. We are to know Him in resurrection power. Jesus set a precedent with His lifestyle of ruining every funeral including His own. Resurrection is at the heart of His life and He commands us to do it also. I we are ever going to find out who we are and what we have, the first place we go is to Jesus.

We are commanded to preach "The Kingdom of God is at hand" and we go in the Great Commission by curing the sick, raising the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons, freely without pay we receive and freely without charge we give. If we are going to live the Word of God, we don't have options. We don't receive instructions on how to do these things, we just do what God tells us in the Word to do. Believing believers will step out in moments that are strange and uncommon and just obey the Word. If we don't see the result, we still know that our God is kind, good and faithful no matter the outcome. it is not about us having our way, but us being responsible where the Gospel is concerned.
