Historical Background
In 1944, Leon Pawlak developed a tank concept, realized as a self-propelled vehicle. He made extensive use of castings in his design. The drive sprockets were located at the front, and a 76mm gun was mounted in an original turret. The crew consisted of four. The vehicle was to be equipped with an electric transmission and a diesel engine capable of reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h. However, these estimates were never verified, and the tank was never built.
