Come with us as we hike Genesse Mountain Trail for the first time! This trail is a 3.6 mile loop with a starting elevation of 7579 with a 471 elevation gain. In total the hike took us around 1 hour and 45 minutes. It is a dog friendly trail as long as they are on a leash and is very popular for mountain bikers. Either way you start the first half of the hike will be uphill but was mostly shaded (at least in the evening). The unique thing about this trail is that it loops around a bison enclosure.
