拙政园是苏州园林的代表作品，始建于明正德初年（公元1509年），由明代弘治进士王献臣所建。拙政园是江南古典园林的杰出代表，与北京颐和园、承德避暑山庄、苏州留园并称为中国四大名园。‌‌

拙政园占地面积约52000平方米，全园分为东、中、西三部分，各具特色。东部以自然山水为主，中部是精华所在，以水为主，西部则以宁静和深远为主题。中部景区包括远香堂、香洲、荷风四面亭等，这些建筑临水而建，池广树茂，景色自然。西部景区有卅六鸳鸯馆、倒影楼等，装饰华丽精美。

The Humble Administrator's Garden is a representative work of Suzhou gardens. It was built in the early years of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1509) by Wang Xianchen, a scholar from Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty. The Humble Administrator's Garden is an outstanding representative of classical gardens in the south of the Yangtze River. It is one of the four famous gardens in China along with the Summer Palace in Beijing, the Summer Resort in Chengde, and the Lingering Garden in Suzhou. ‌‌

The Humble Administrator's Garden covers an area of ​​about 52,000 square meters. The whole garden is divided into three parts: east, middle and west, each with its own characteristics. The eastern part is dominated by natural landscapes, the central part is where the essence is, dominated by water, and the western part is dominated by tranquility and profoundness. The central scenic area includes Yuanxiang Hall, Xiangzhou, Hefeng Pavilion, etc. These buildings are built near the water, with wide pools and lush trees, and natural scenery. The western scenic spot includes the Thirty-Six Mandarin Ducks Pavilion and the Reflection Tower, which are all gorgeously decorated.

The Humble Administrator's Garden is not only famous for its exquisite garden design, but also carries rich history and culture. In 1961, the Humble Administrator's Garden was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit. In 1997, the Humble Administrator's Garden was included in the World Heritage List together with the Lingering Garden, Master of the Nets Garden and Huanxiu Villa. In 2007, the Humble Administrator's Garden was rated as a national AAAAA tourist attraction.

The opening hours of the Humble Administrator's Garden are from 07:30 to 17:30 every day (from March 1 to November 15), and admission is closed at 17:00 (from November 16 to February 29 of the following year).
