In this video, I head out on the kayak to target deep water walleye using a 3oz bottom bouncer rig, a steel worm harness with a leaf blade spinner, and a natural-colored artificial worm. The mission? Get down 30–35 feet and find those walleye hiding in the depths! 🧭

Not only do I catch my first walleye on the bottom bouncer, but I also hook into a few surprise pike along the way—and yes, the steel leader saved the day! But the adventure doesn’t stop there…
