Senate President Pro Tempore Ping Lacson on Tuesday (November 18) countered the claims of resigned congressman Zaldy Co regarding the alleged P100-billion budget insertion of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.
Citing his phone call with former DPWH undersecretary Roberto Bernardo, Lacson named Palace officials "who are not authorized by the president and who misrepresented him" who supposedly led Co to believe that Marcos had ordered the insertion.
