I foraged Dyers' Polypore: Let's Experiment with the "endless" Dye Mushroom

Hello friends! On my walk I came across the Holy Grail of my Dyeing Adventures: a Dyers' Polypore. I have said in the past that dyeing with mushrooms or fungi was something I really wanted to try. And here was my chance: just freely growing in the woods. I picked some of the Dyers' Polypore, and let most of it remain in nature and perform its natural duties, for example being an absolute artwork.
Today we're extracting the pigments out of this mushroom and dyeing some Belgian Milksheep Wool the most beautiful golden and yellow colours. I really loved this project, how about you?
Just as last time we'll dunk the wool in some modifier afterbaths: iron modifier and some wood ash lye. So strap yourselves in tight as we're going the chaos route!
