OFF THE STONES EP1 | TARGETING BLACK DRUMMER ON THE EAST COAST AUS!

Welcome to the first video of a new series 'off the stones'. In the first video i share my knowledge of targeting these brutal fighting fish, 'Black Drummer'. I learnt this stuff from a good mate of mine Jeremy who loves fishing off the stones and had a bug for targeting these guys once upon a time. In my opinion Drummer are a highly under rated fish to capture. They fight hard, can be VERY tricky to get a bite and definitely put your gear to the ultimate test. Oh and they taste amazing. The epic thing i love about targeting these fish is that they can be very tricky to find and once you've found them they can be hard to fool but when you have a red hot session it is PROPER RED HOT. With potential to hook 5-10 fish in a session. So sick. I'm yet to have a bite like this and i have only ever landed a few little guys but over the next few months with this cold weather around i will be putting in some time to find a few proper models and i'll be filming the entire journey and learning process along the way.Follow me on my journey to becoming an experienced rock fisherman and learning the ins and outs of targeting a wide variety of species. I'll be giving tips and tricks along the way to hopefully help out a few folk out there who are looking to get into rock fishing too. By no means am i great at targeting any species off the rocks. A few bits and pieces of rock fishing here and there but nothing major and never got to fully get comfortable with that style of fishing. Anyway, enough chit chat.
