A look at the last Fluorspar and other minerals Processing Plant in Derbyshire Cavendish Mill thanks to Andrew Lomas for sending me all the footage and Gill Waklam for filming it, This Video is a tribute to everyone who work here at Cavendish Mill and all The Miners who worked for Glebe, Laportes and British Fluorspar who owned the Mill and Mines, and also all the many people who supplied the Mill with all the other Minerals which were processed here, the Mill sadly closed last year bringing an end to the Fluorspar Industry in Derbyshire.
