Now, how much do you know about Utah? Before my visit, all I heard/read about was that "mostly Mormon", and Utah Jazz, and that it's where deserts dance with snow, arches defy gravity, and outdoor adventures. Utah is surely well-known for its wonderful landscapes and a rich inclusive culture!

In addition to our first impression of the children library at ground floor, the creative lab at second floor (refer to part-I video), this architectural masterpiece has so many other surprises to offer! It is an award-winning symbol of innovation and culture. Some of the notable awards and honors it had received by that time include:
--American Institute of Architects (AIA) Honor Award: The library received the AIA Honor Award in 2005 for its outstanding architectural design and contributions to the community.
--Library Journal's Library of the Year: In 2006, it was named "Library of the Year" by Library Journal, recognizing its innovative design and contributions to the library field.
--American Library Association (ALA) Library Building Award: The library won this award in 2004, recognizing its excellence in library architecture and design.
--Urban Land Institute (ULI) Award for Excellence: It received the ULI Award for Excellence in 2004 for its positive impact on land use and the community.

While we take a leisure stroll around the library, we will discover stunning contemporary design, with its striking glass façade and intricate geometric patterns that seamlessly blend with the natural surroundings.
We will experience these serene reading corners that offer breathtaking cityscape views, inviting you to lose yourself in the world of books while enjoying the beauty of Salt Lake City.
