Where are the best places for photography in the Yorkshire Dales? Cartigg Foss (or Catrigg Force) is my FAVOURITE! waterfall location in the South Yorkshire Dales I have visited so far. Surrounded by forest and nestled into it's self carved ravine, this tucked away hidden gem is accessed through Yorkshires relaxing rolling landscape, and is a great place to visit for experiencing the soothing sounds of nature and to get away from the crowds.
