Our journey to Rara Lake which is the biggest freshwater lake in the Nepalese Himalayas. It is the main feature of Rara National Park, located in Jumla and Mugu Districts of Karnali Province. Rara lake is also known as Mahendra Lake, it was declared a Ramsar site, covering 1,583 ha including the surrounding wetland. Rara National Park's total area is 106 km².
Our NEPAL POV team decided to explore and capture the raw beauty of RARA Lake and the journey to RARA Lake from Kathmandu in the Winter season.
