The Daily Mirror Royal Editor Russell Myers has discussed US President Donald Trump’s upcoming state visit to the UK to meet King Charles in September.
“What we don’t know yet, which is a bit of a grey area, is whether this is going to be a full pomp and pageantry state visit,” he told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo.
“My understanding was that it wasn’t going to be; it was sort of an invitation for Trump to go over as sort of a precursor to a potential state visit next year, but Trump seems to have gotten carried away.”
