As earthquakes jolted Turkiye, India was among the first countries to extend help to the country. After launching Operation Dost to assist Turkiye in its rescue and relief operations, India has sent six aircraft so far with relief material and specialized rescue teams. Indian Army has set up a field hospital in Hatay to save lives. “Our teams are working day and night as a part of ‘Operation Dost.’ They will keep giving their best to ensure maximum lives and property are saved. In this critical time, India stands firmly with the people of Türkiye,” PM Modi tweeted on February 10.
