Between Phos, Chris, and now Luz, I think I just really like characters that seem fun-loving and carefree on the outside but are really burdened by heavy amounts of insecurities and traumas... Huh.
This is an analysis I've wanted to do for a while, before The Owl House Season 2 even concluded. I'm glad I waited, though; I was able to get a whole lot more to work with and when trying to figure out what to say about Luz as a result. As time goes on, Luz as a character just becomes more and more important to me; she really is just one of the single best characters I've seen in a western animation, which I suppose goes without saying since this video exists. I guess I could have and maybe should have waited for Season 3 to come out in full before writing this... But I waited long enough, I gotta get my word on the mama that wasn't ready for trauma out there.
Spoiler Warning for:
The Owl House (Up to Season 2)
Music: Gymnopédie No.1 by Erik Satie
(I know I've been doing music actually from the series discussed a few videos in a row but I couldn't figure out how to get The Owl House music to go with the video, so I just went with one of my favorites that generally fits most moods)
