2024 Rail Footage

All my amassed rail footage from 2024. With four hours of footage, I was not able to input timestamps for everything due to character limitations. But you'll see trains at all the old familiar spots, including NS, CSX, SEPTA, PATCO, AMTRAK, and even Northern Trains in Buxton from a trip to England back in August! Enjoy!
0:01 22M clear Abrams.
0:39 62W clears Abrams in a rare Sunday passage, having been laid up the previous night due to PTC issues.
2:08 A snowy MLK day trip to Wayne on SEPTA 9593.
3:34 B115 passes Lawndale the night after another snowstorm, with CSX having won back the Eddystone oil contract.
6:19, 8:28 A walk on the Chester Creek road north of I95, followed by M421 by Boothwyn after dark. (8:27)
12:06 62W slowly makes its way in Abrams, in the process of tying down at Norris.
15:52 A Presidents Day journey through Philly on SEPTA and PATCO, including a view of the under-construction Franklin Square station, before going to Paoli by SEPTA 9593, then going back by AMTRAK.
26:30 B120-26 clears Lawndale eastbound.
26:58 Westbound lite power for Abrams, followed by a rerouted 20X by West Conshohocken.
32:17 H86 clear of Bridgeport westbound.
33:02 62W east by Swedeland on a rainy evening.
33:35 H38 and 22M work alongside each other in Abrams Yard.
34:16 A Memorial Day weekend to Port Deposit with JJuliano238.
46:11 Riding the West Chester Railroad the day after the Savoy Performance of Grand Duke at Longwood Gardens. Here we ride from West Chester to Glen Mills and back, then watch the train shunt itself back into the yard at Union Street.
55:42 62W is blocked by H86 assembling itself in Abrams. We see 62W again in West Conshohocken at 58:06.
58:23 A SEPTA local pulls in Warminster Station at the end of its run.
59:09 62W passes Abrams later that night.
1:00:41 A trip to the Reading and Harrisburg Line with JJuliano238, with 269 west through Blandon (1:01:02), 18N east by Temple (1:03:11), 31A west by Sinking Spring (1:07:09), 200 west through Richland (1:11:59), 62V and 22X both east by Lebanon (1:13:40, 1:16:29), then back to Richland to see 38G go east (1:19:25), and 231 go west (1:22:41).
1:25:10 A visit to the new Claymont Station, with various AMTRAK movements, before traversing back to Philadelphia on 9250, followed by a sighting of the PC unit on my return train to Glenside.
1:27:14 Well off the beaten path aboard Northern Trains on the Buxton Line, while in the area to perform the Grand Duke with Savoy once again! Round trip from Buxton to New Mills-Newtown and Back.
1:45:34 Back on home terrain, on a trip through Philadelphia on PATCO and SEPTA, then up to Wayne on 9593.
1:48:20 A SEPTA local pulls into Warminster in the blazing heat of July.
1:49:14 Another visit to the Port Road with JJuliano, with coal dominating the line, the first movement being an eastbound load at 1:49:19, followed by an empty heading west at 1:51:23, and another loaded movement at 1:54:21, the cycle only being broken by CSX M409 on the Philly Sub at West Aiken at 1:59:54.
2:05:51 CSX X371 clears Fairview Road in Woodlyn on the CSX Philly Sub. At this point, I had gotten a new phone, so I was able to capture it at a stunning wide angle!
2:09:09 H86 passing Depot Street in Bridgeport, followed by 62W with the Norfolk and Western unit trailing, almost a week later. 2:10:02
2:12:21 A ride from 30th Street to Paoli on SEPTA 9593 during my vacation week, with 907 in the lead, and 2401 at the back. An eastbound Keystone Amtrak train departs Paoli soon after 9593, followed by a westbound Keystone, and SEPTA 9595.
2:24:54 NS 22M clears Abrams, followed by 62W at 2:25:28.
2:26:53 A late-summer trip up and down the Northeast Corridor on Amtrak, then Metro North up to New Haven, then back down to ride the MTA around New York City, then back to Trenton.
2:46:46 62W down Main 2 through Abrams (a rarity) with the N&W unit trailing.
2:48:56 CSX M404-28 clears Lawndale eastbound with a CSX and BNSF duo, followed by a SEPTA train, and B119 with a CP and KCS duo leading.
2:54:47 A ride on SEPTA's reverse-commuter express from Philadelphia to Newark and back.
3:02:49 A day up in Kingston and Lake Katrine with JJuliano238, as per our annual tradition, with M567 at 3:02:56, M218 at 3:06:20, I157 at 3:09:13, I104 at 3:09:36, M409 at 3:12:43, M434 at 3:16:36, I163 at 3:19:26, and I169 at 3:22:48.
3:24:20, 3:26:15 62W clears Bridgeport, after which, the Virginian Unit leads an empty stone local onto the scale track, mostly like K71.
3:34:16 Down in Port Deposit with JJuliano238 for our annual post-Thanksgiving Port Road trip.
3:59:39 A snowy night in Lindenwold as an eastbound NJT train departs for Atlantic City.
4:04:04 B705 with CN SD75I and EJE unit speed by Lawndale, rounding out the year for train watching.
