How to Play “Mister Sun” (Beginner Ukulele Lesson)

Mister Sun is a traditional children's song from the early 1900s.
This is a beginner ukulele lesson using only downstrums in a 4-count. The lesson is "follow along" style: I play through the song demonstrating the chord changes, and then we sing the chords as we play through the song, and eventually we play through the song together. This is the way old folk songs have always been taught: sitting knee-to-knee, lots of repetition, and minimal distraction. Once you are able to board the train the song can take off!
You need to tune your ukulele before we begin. I keep the chord diagrams up on the screen to help you remember where your fingers go while we play.
This lesson is good for any age learner.
