DIY Dollar Tree Vintage Look Clipboards (55)

In this video, I purchase and transform 3 Dollar Tree clipboards into vintage, shabby chic styled decor pieces. I chalk paint each one using the colors cashew, white and elephant gray. I go over each one with a sanding block to get that distressed, worn look. I then add embellishments using ribbons, bows, burlap rosettes, lace and vintage jewelry. I display each one using family heirlooms such as old family photos, memorabilia, letters, recipes and sewing notions. I used scrapbook paper for added background and downloaded a McCalls vintage sewing pattern image. Please view my other videos to see how I make the bows and burlap rosettes.
