Having had to postpone Thursday and Fridays gala due to bad weather, the WSR Spring Steam Gala continued through its second weekend with more improved sunny spells to brighten up the day, and with the wind in the right direction. The gala as usual rostered its fleet of Standard engines along with some GWR motive power running the line.

I would personally like to thank the West Somerset Railway and its volunteers for doing an outstanding role in the cutting back on the lineside vegetation, as the line gets alot of it during the course of the year.
