The Porsche 911 was a car built on evolution rather than evolution, with slight changes made over the course of 35 years. 1989 was the final year of the car known as the “G-Body” 911, and marked the end of the evolution, before the revolutionary 964 generation debuted later in the year. This engine was treated to a 60,000 mile service at Squire’s Autowerke in March which included new belts, spark plugs, filters and a valve adjustment. Power is then sent through Porsche’s legendary G50 5-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels.
