Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 Day 8: Dikwella & Hiriketiya 🌴
Today we explored the beautiful beach towns of Dikwella & Hiriketiya, and honestly… I’m not ready to leave.
🐢 Turtle Point – the perfect beach for lounging, swimming, and snorkelling. We were lucky enough to spot a turtle, plus plenty of colourful fish and sea urchins in the clear water.
🍸 Cafe Secret – a quiet, intimate spot with candlelight, great cocktails, and the most delicious tender fish. Such a cozy evening vibe.
🛒 Supermarket finds – tried wood apple for the first time! Always fun taste-testing local fruits.
Tomorrow we’re leaving Hiriketiya and I’m already sad 😭 I’ve absolutely loved it here. It’s such a fun, relaxed, beachy area with the best energy.
