Sometimes I print high volume print jobs and forgot to refill inktanks.
It's not my fault actually, the printer has tiny inktanks! :D
This causes air to accumulate in dumper.
The dumper needs be filled with ink to act as buffer.
If air is present, ink will not flow properly to the printhead.
The good thing is, it is quiet easy to fix. :D
The printer has only 6 screws (2 on top, 2 outside inktank, 2 inside inktank) and 2 slide locks at the bottom.
Note: If you still experience issues with print quality suddenly fades most commonly on magenta, you need to remove all the ink from the tank via the damper. Then put a new ink on the tank and refill via the damper again. The problem might be due to an old ink.
