Build your Own Vocal Booth | (Under $200) | Perfect for small spaces

Do you want to build your own vocal booth and take your recordings to the next level? Are other options not right for you, to complicated or takes up to much space? Take a look at this space saver and decide for yourself. There are other good options out there but this worked best for me since i needed one with minimal storage space.

TOTAL COST:
$135 curtain (price reduction, that's why the price differs here and in the video)
$36 pipes
$18 pipe clamps


MATERIALS NEEDED:
1. 4 pieces of copper pipes. ø15 mm and 1 m in length each. You can buy them in 1 m lengths or buy a 2 m length and cut in half.

2. 8 matching white pipe clamps with screws in appropriate lengths.
You could get pipes and clamps from your local hardware store.

3. Get the same size curtain! (4x3m) I use "Stairville Sound Abso 500g/m2 4.0*3.0 M curtain". You can use others but i recommend the density of 500g/m2. Make sure that the diameter of the curtain eyelets are bigger than the pipes diameter. In my case the eyelets were ø18mm and the pipes ø15mm. Perfect!

See if you have screws at home. Otherwise check with the personnel for recommendation on appropriate lengths and type.
Depending on what material your ceiling is made of you might need additional plugs in addition to the screws.
