Is it safe to say that just about everyone and read this delightful book by Dr. Seuss? Since it was first published in March of 1957, it has over 10 million copies printed, in 12 different languages, an animated television special in 1971, a 2003 live action film, an upcoming animated film and Universal’s Islands of Adventure’s Dark ride. The ride opened with the rest of the park on May 28, 1999. It is a fun dark ride that is faithful to the book. One thing to note is that in 2014, after getting complaints from guests about motion sickness, Universal toned down the vehicles spinning sequences. This video was shot prior to that.
