Goonj presented the Junoon Awards 2024 at our annual event Chaupal in Bangalore on 4 August 2024. The Junoon Awards, named after the Hindi word for "Passion," celebrates the heart behind development work. It aims to recognise organisations that demonstrate exceptional courage, take risks for the greater good, and show unrelenting passion and resilience in the face of adversity.
This year, six remarkable organisations were awarded for their innovative approaches to empowering communities across India. Goonj congratulates the awardees, and to those recognised for Special Jury Mention for their impactful work and dedication in redefining social impact.
