"Axis of the Hollow" is a visceral exploration of betrayal, sacrifice, and the desperate search for a lifeline. The song follows the journey of someone who has fought "tooth and nail"—giving their sanity, their strength, and their soul—to be the shield for another.

Now, trapped in the very darkness they once protected someone else from, they are faced with a haunting question: Will the person I bled for reach back into the abyss to pull me out, or was my sacrifice just a footnote in their story?
