This documentary shows a week of my Koi Hunt trip in the North of Japan in November 2023. In this time of the year, all of the Koi breeders in Japan harvest all of their Koi fish in mud pond in the mountain area. Therefore, there are many high quality and beautiful Nishikigoi for the hobbies and the dealer to select in Fall season in the origin of Nishikigoi.
In this documentary, you can see what it is like to find, select and buy a Koi Fish in Japan. The Koi hunt journey is full of joy and happiness when you guys can watch from the beauty of the koi to the rich traditions of Japanese fish breeding.
