Floods kill one person in Rukungiri district
A primary teacher has been killed by floods that cut off Rukungiri town to Nyarushanja and Nyakishenyi Sun counties in Rukungiri district.The deceased has been identified as Tumwesigye Micheal a teacher at Kebisoni integrated primary school in Kebisoni town council and a resident of Migyera village,Nyarushanja Sub county Rukungiri district.
Tumwesigye who allegedly drowned at River Mineera in Rwankoma village Nyarushanje Sub county Rukungiri district that flooded due to heavy down pour that hit the area for over 23 hours.
